BBSRC GCRF Strategic Training Awards for Research Skills (GCRF-STARS)

Following on from the success of the 2017 GCRF-STARS call, BBSRC is pleased to announce a second round of GCRF STARS for strategic training awards of up to 12 months in duration to support research capability addressing current global challenges.

GCRF Global Multimorbidity – Seed-funding 2019

The GCRF global multimorbidity seed-funding call is an MRC initiative that has been developed in collaboration with Wellcome, NIHR, and AMS. The call will support seed-funding projects that develop and test innovative ideas, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, build capacity, and lay the groundwork for future large-scale activity aimed at understanding and tackling multimorbidity in LMICs.

Research Development Awards in Humanities, Social Science and Bioethics

The IZA/DFID Programme on Gender, Growth and Labour Markets in Low-Income Countries (G²LM|LIC) marks the extension of the successful IZA/DFID cooperation. The extension aims at building a significant new body of evidence on gender, growth, and labour markets to help shape gender and labour market policies in low-income countries.
