To make best use of the expansive data in the COVID-19 Research Project Tracker, UKCDR & GloPID-R have produced a Living Mapping Review of COVID-19 funded research projects, which analyses globally funded COVID-19 related research.
As the COVID-19 global research funding response has hit a plateau, the Living Mapping Review (LMR) continues to provide valuable information for the international community of researchers and funders. Researchers and funders around the world rely on the COVID-19 Research Project Tracker and associated Living Mapping Review (LMR) to funnel resources where needs are greatest by tracking the latest COVID-19 research trends and gaps. For the first time, the LMR features an analysis of research projects on our Tracker mapped against the pillars and priorities outlined in the UN Research Roadmap for the COVID-19 Recovery.
In our six-month update of our Living Mapping Review, researchers and funders around the world can tap into the latest trends and gaps for future COVID-19 research to funnel resources to where there is the greatest research need.
