Rachael Sara-Kennedy

Rachael is Head of Strategic Partnerships at Universities UK International. Leads on the design and implementation of partnership agreements with UK and overseas bodies to support UK sector access to international funding opportunities for research collaboration, mobility or knowledge exchange. The current portfolio of partnerships encompass management and/or delivery support roles in several capacity building schemes such as the Rutherford Fund, the Newton Fund and the Argentinian BEC.AR scholarship programme. Rachael is also the strategic lead for UUKi’s International Research Development Network (IRDN), which brings together more than 400 research development practitioners and academics from 100+ member institutions to discuss developments or challenges in international research collaboration.
