Professor Doris Schroeder

Doris is the Director of the Centre for Professional Ethics and Professor of Moral Philosophy at the University of Central Lancashire, as well as the Law School of UCLan Cyprus. Doris is the Lead Author of the “Global Code of Conduct for Research in Resource-Poor Settings”, which was recently adopted by the European Commission and the EDCTP to govern research involving low-and middle-income countries. Doris has led large international research projects on global research ethics, international justice, and responsible innovation and given invited presentations on her research in 27 countries.
