UNCTAD Sustainable Manufacturing and Environmental Pollution (SMEP) Programme
The Sustainable Manufacturing and Environmental Pollution (SMEP) programme is a collaboration between UNCTAD and DFID which aims to reduce the environmental and social impacts of manufacturing in developing countries. The programme funds research activities and developing technical solutions that will help reduce the levels of pollution and environmental degradation generated by industrial/manufacturing processes in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) and South Asia (SA).
